Acme Studio Soft Goods

Website design, identity and copywriting

Initially requesting a portfolio website, our conversations unveiled the need for a clear visual identity which led to a more robust business-centric website, branding guide and print collateral.

Acme Studio Soft Goods offers professional soft goods consulting, prototyping, patternmaking and materials sourcing. Their previous website was a simple collection of portfolio images which needed to be updated and reorganized. Upon our project goals and needs meeting we decided to move away from a basic portfolio site and incorporate content that their clients typically request after contacting Acme Studio in order to reduce communication barriers and speed up their project launch dates. The resulting site not only displays their body of work, but also positions them as a professional and seasoned soft good prototyping business.

Acme Studio already had an established primary and secondary logo at the start of this project. The logos provided a solid jumping point for me to further develop their brand identity and style guidelines, which included refining the anatomy of their logo, then designing and developing their color palette, typography, favicon, collateral kit and more, with proper usage guidelines for these components - delivered as their own sharable digital Acme Studio Branding + Style Book.
